Anti-Fraud Policy

At Star Sea Management Pvt Ltd (RPSL-MUM-330), we strictly follow a Zero-Fee Policy for all our recruitment activities. We believe in fair, transparent, and merit-based recruitment. We never charge seafarers any placement fees or service charges for securing employment onboard vessels.

Before applying for any position, please keep the following important points in mind to protect yourself from recruitment scams:

1. No Hidden Charges

We do not ask for any commission, job placement fees, job-securing fees, or security deposits, either directly or through any third party. Your selection is based entirely on your skills, qualifications, experience, and medical fitness.

2. Your Expenses vs. Shipowner's Expenses

As per MLC 2006, seafarers are responsible only for their personal documents and related requirements, such as CDC, Passport, STCW certificates, and medical examinations. All visa-related costs must be borne entirely by the shipowner.

3. Say NO to Unauthorized Agents

We have not authorized any external agents, brokers, or social media groups on platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or YouTube to recruit crew members or collect money on our behalf.

4. Check the Email Address

All official job offers, documentation requests, and interview invitations will be sent only from our official company email address ending with @starseamgmt.com.

We never use Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or other personal email accounts for official recruitment-related communication.

5. Legal Notice

Star Sea Management Pvt Ltd shall not be responsible for any financial loss or fraudulent activity carried out by individuals, agencies, or organizations falsely using our company's name.

If anyone asks you for money in exchange for promising employment with us, please report it immediately to info@starseamgmt.com so that we can investigate the matter and take appropriate legal action.
